Your habitual patterns of acting, feeling and thinking set the stage for your current situation at work, with your family, or your health, and you must change those habits to break through to a new reality of simplicity and ease.

The change won’t be familiar and it won’t be comfortable, but you must make the change or you risk suffering the same pain and frustration, over and over. Your current strategies aren’t working.

You need to change but it’s not obvious what to do. Your habits are baked into your brain and they’re like prisms that distort reality and blind you to the best way forward.

That’s why you need to plan ahead and get help from someone who can see your big picture.

Take these steps to change the way you think and feel and act so you can solve the problem and find the ease you crave.

Plan ahead: What are your habitual patterns of acting and feeling and thinking that set the stage for how things are now? How are they likely to show up as you start to transform your condition?

Identify your habitual actions.

Identify new actions that can change your condition.

Be aware of your habitual feelings.

Identify how you would like to feel.

Notice your automatic thoughts in this realm of your life.

Identify new perspectives that you would like to entertain.

I’ll illustrate the process with an example from my life.

My condition: I’m frustrated with my slow pace of reaching people with tools from neuroscience that can improve their life. It’s going painfully slowly and my mentors and friends are encouraging me to collaborate with colleagues who share my mission. The collaborative approach is counter-intuitive and pushes my buttons, but I decided to give it a go.

My habitual actions: I prioritize working with patients, studying, and learning how to teach rather than taking the time to meet new colleagues. I decide to spend two hours each week reaching out to colleagues who might share my mission, and connecting about how we can support each other.

My habitual feelings: I feel shy and unsure about how to proceed, and pressured about time. I’d like to feel confident as I reach out and connected with colleagues who share a common cause.

My habitual thoughts: I don’t have enough time, and I can get more done if I just do it myself. I’d like to consider the perspective that it’s good for me and it’s good for my colleagues if we know and support each other, and we might have a bigger impact if we work together than if we go on our own.

Find someone to help you with the process – ideally someone who has gone thru the transformation you want to make, someone who can see your big picture and fill in your blind spots, someone who loves and supports you. Imagine that person if they are not readily available.

Plan ahead, and answer these questions

Then take action. Notice the actions you take and what happens as a result. Notice what you feel and what you think.

You can’t learn and grow without practical experience. You must take action and learn from the feedback.

This process will change your brain so you are a new person with a more effective way to deal with challenges. You speed the process when you listen to BrainTime because it helps your brain to learn and grow.

Frustration and Mercury Retrograde

Mercury is in retrograde again!” If you don’t know astrology, you may have wondered what they were talking about. Of all planetary aspects, this one seems to frustrate people no end without them having a clue as to why.

Winning the mind game in two simple steps

Two steps is all it takes, and of course time and patience.

I have posted extensively on my experience regarding an accident I suffered more than 18 years ago. Now perhaps it is a good time to share my secret to recovery, and thus far gaining back a large portion of my cognitive ability in the space of a few months.

For 18 years I suffered, and lived in a empty void as result largely because the medical mafia told my family and I there was no hope of recovery ever.

It was a case of all the kings’ horses and all the kings’ men couldn’t put Brian together again.

To make a long story short. Two solutions I used are Braintime and a product called Keenmind.

Let me ask. Do you suffer from occasional memory loss or plain becoming more forgetful?

Are your moods changing for the worse? Are you becoming grumpy as result?

Do you sleep well? Or even enough without waking every hour?

Do you sometimes or often misplace your keys or purse or wallet?

I searched worldwide for a solution. For many years I simply did not claim victim status. If I did I probably would be in some institution wearing a napkin and permanent drool,

Suffice to say if this could work for me. Imagine what it could do for minor memory and cognitive issues brought on by the natural aging process?

This is not a commercial post. Please don’t get me wrong. I aim to share my story as far and wide as possible. The reason for this is simple. As stated if it could work for me ,and I managed to defy the gloomy picture so many neurologists medical doctors and others have painted over the years. It really can work for anyone.

The fact remains. You hold destiny in your own hands. You can choose to be a victim or a survivor. The ultimate choice is within your self. These tools I will supply links to are simply just that tools, however I simply cannot see how I would have managed to climb out of my desperate situation without them.

These are not the only tools I have tried over the years. There have been many other with varying levels of success. Certain products can be likened to placebos. They just did not do much. I have always been a bit of a maverick so I just stormed in and tried everything. Don’t do this please. It may delay any recovery or progress. Be wise and consult widely and wisely.

It comes down to the following in my case. Two tablets of Keenmind in the morning, and ten minutes of listening to Braintime sounds on headphones once a day.

There is honestly no need for hours of dedicated meditation or breathing exercises few people have time for. The other awesome fact is the price of these products.

Dear Readers and followers.

After longer than a year conducting intensive research into different forms of brainwave entertainment I have reached the following conclusions. Simple is infact better.

It would seem the less sophisticated the sounds the better the outcome.

After investing much time and resources into numerous available programs. I can honestly state only one stands out from the rest. Brain time by Dr Jim Otis.

Kindly note I am not bashing any other programs, however I am sharing my opinion as a dedicated user and investigator.

The sounds are simple and the format is simple. There are no loud tones or a myriad of different sounds intermingled.

In my humble opinion many of the programs available are offered with good intention; however lack the science behind it.

 

I have found for e.g. that I make a very good case study into the effectiveness of various programs available. Some programs fail to deliver completely and I just ended up with a huge headache and a empty wallet. Other programs interfere with my short term cognitive processing including either limiting or shortening my short term memory.

 

Braintime delivers  on time everytime

One must understand that there is a very specific science behind brainwave entrainement. It is not just about mixing a few sounds in a studio and presenting them.

Many of the programs do not explain the science behind the sound. This is not just unfortunate but may lead to devastating consequences if not carefully explained what each tone means in practice.
